There from the very start
KACO is the oldest German manufacturer of inverters.
70 years ago, the Company specialised in the manufacturer of elecromechanical choppers.
Since then, KACO power supplies have been used in industry and railways.
Our devices are available in various designs to accommodate different requirements.
In addition, we adapt the devices to your special needs for the required input voltage or output power. Or we develop a new device from scratch. We can do this for just a single piece of equipment. As KACO is there from the very start, we know what we are dealing with.
Reliability and a long service life are and always have been two of the most important features of our devices. For this reason, all products that KACO supplies have undergone extensive thermal and electronic tests. Independent test laboratories have verified and certified the high quality of our products in numerous load tests. Naturally, our power supplies for use in railway vehicles comply with European Norm EN 50155. Railway devices must be designed for extreme operating conditions such as high ambient temperatures, extended voltage tolerances and a high mechanical resistance to impact and vibrations.
